All about the produce
The farm provides delicious produce for local consumption using only organic farming methods – no crazy chemicals, sprays or pesticides. All plants are grown from organic and/or non-GMO seed, and a majority of seed comes from family-run companies in the Pacific Northwest.
Intensive farming techniques are used to maximize production and minimize land and resource use. Currently, the farm is a collection of properties in the Collister neighborhood of Boise whose combined area is under ½ an acre of land.
Crops for this year include: Salad mix, lettuce, swiss chard, arugula, spinach, kale, other greens, beets, carrots, kohlrabi, cabbage, broccoli, peppers, green beans, snap peas, summer and winter squash, tomatoes, herbs, radish, turnips, cucumber, eggplant, and bok choy.
